Carnage Horror Film Festival is a Horror/Thriller film festival held in the heart of Sacramento, California. A comprehensive campaign was developed to promote the festival, encapsulating the genre of Horror. The concept draws from the golden era of 80’s Horror films, using bold red and blue colors paired with an illustration of a monster feasting its eyes. The main goals in creating the film festival were to attract attendees using self-made imagery, provide a thrilling environment for horror/thriller superfans to share their interest in the genre, and prevent possible user errors through previous research. 

Carnage Horror Film Festival provided an opportunity to push creative limits. The freedom and vast possibilities for the film festival presented a challenge in creating a branding system from scratch but allowed for showcasing unique skills by expanding design elements, all stemming from the main 16x20 poster.
